Target Group
The training is primarily aimed at diversity managers, recruiters and HR managers. We would also like to point out that the individual criteria primarily refer to large and medium-sized companies and organisations. Representatives from small companies are also welcome to participate in the training, but some of the measures would have to be modified to fit the given resources. Unfortunately, we will not have time to go into this in detail during the training.
GENERAL INFORMATION
You want to become an LGBTIQ+ friendly employer but don’t know where to start? You live an LGBTIQ+ friendly corporate culture but don’t know how to communicate this to the outside world? You are already advanced in LGBTIQ+ diversity management and would like to know what measures are necessary to become an LGBTIQ+ diversity champion?
Answers to these and many more questions can be found in our four-part online LGBTIQ+ diversity training! Our aim is to provide employers with a comprehensive overview of LGBTIQ+ diversity and its many measures and implementation possibilities, and to support them in becoming even more LGBTIQ+ friendly.
THE TRAINING
The training is held once every six months. The four dates are spread over two weeks (20 September | 22 September | 27 September | 29 September) and last one hour per date. If an appointment cannot be attended, it can be repeated in the following training without additional costs. The criteria for each part of the training will be sent to the participants in advance to give you the opportunity to collect questions and submit them online (see below “YOUR QUESTIONS”).
THE CRITERIA
We draw the 75 criteria of the training from our comprehensive LGBTIQ+ diversity audit for our PRIDE Champion employer seal. The audit was launched 6 years ago and has been further developed every year, among others with the help of an LGBTIQ+ advisory board. Meanwhile, more than 100 different companies and organisations have already gone through the audit and used the results to improve their LGBTIQ+ diversity management. The four parts of the training are based on the audit’s four categories (Organisational Structure | Human Resources | Communication & Visibility | Legal Framework and Regulations).
