The Third Gender Option in the Employee Life Cycle

Since 2018, intersex people have the possibility to be registered as “diverse” in the civil status register in Germany. This has several implications for employers, including the need to mark job ads for third gender applicants. In this focus session, we will take a closer look at what companies should pay attention to regarding the third gender option in the course of the employee life cycle and how the company’s general LGBTIQ+ diversity management can be improved and developed in the same course.

What is a Focus Session?
Once per quarter, and exclusively for our We Stay PRIDE partners we host LGBTIQ+ Diversity Focus Sessions in which we dive deep into selected issues relevant for HR and Diversity Management.
