Seit 2018 besteht für intergeschlechtliche Menschen die Möglichkeit,sich im Personenstandsregister als “divers” eintragen zu lassen. Für Arbeitgeber hat dies verschiedene Implikationen, unter anderem, dass Stellenanzeigen auch für Bewerber:innen des Dritten Geschlechts markiert werden müssen. In dieser Focus Session schauen wir uns genauer an, auf was Unternehmen bezüglich der dritten Geschlechtsoption im Laufe des Employee Life Cycles achten sollten und wie im gleichen Zuge das generelle LGBTIQ+ Diversity Management im Unternehmen verbessert und weiterentwickelt werden kann.

Focus Session: The Third Gender Option in the Employee Life Cycle

Since 2018, intersex people have the possibility to be registered as “diverse” in the civil status register in Germany. This has several implications for employers, including the need to mark job ads for third gender applicants. In this focus session, we will take a closer look at what companies should pay attention to regarding the third gender option in the course of the employee life cycle and how the company’s general LGBTIQ+ diversity management can be improved and developed in the same course.
